The building had 6-column portico with a steepled bell tower. It was built in the strict classic style. By the end of the 19th century the building became dilapidated and needed capital repairs. For that reason the church council announced the Kirha renovation project competition. The best of presented projects was the architect Shorembrand’s one. His project combined the Gothic and Romanesque styles. But the main adornment was a five-level bell towel which was adorned with rich décor and architectural composition. The monument is still admired by residents and guests of Odessa.
